1 ~ Introduction

Hello, Ben here, one of the RGM stragglers. I am probably better than average gear-wise, competent, and hungry. I miss Nob's bad grammar and Xtc's sweetness. And Brom. I guess Gene too. Gene less than Brom though. Brom will always be my favorite elf.

2 ~ Jobs and Subs

I have all jobs 99 except PUP (28), mainly to spite Brom and Gene, and because PUP attatchments and frames confuse me. I do not have all these jobs geared because of inventory issues.

3 ~ Mission Status

I have all the things done, killed everything, barring a few things like ADL and a few of the other annoying dynamis nms like Diabolos. Have all op/warps/teles/VW things.

4 ~ Playtime

I am on Pacific time, and usually am on after 4ish pm on weekdays. Weekends are iffy, though Saturdays are usually fine. Sunday I do my errands or whatever, so I am never sure if i c an be on reliably.

5 ~ Experience and Prior/Current Linkshells

Prior shells hmmm. I have never been in any noteworthy shells. I was in a sky shell and seperate dyna shell long ago on garuda where I capped out on gear (minus crimson legs). I lost interest in whatever shell that was when they started focusing on sea, which sucked, and I was rogue for a long time, and mostly levelled jobs for maat's in TOAU areas, spammed salvage, and did Einherjar until Voidwalkers came out and I ragequitted because the system was bad and the rings sucked. I was in some shell before the RGM crew won me over with their humor and general impishness. I forget the name, but they only did Abyssea and I had a lot of fun with them. I really wish I could remember the name of that shell. It was green I think.

6 ~ Equipment

Oh man, my gear is better than average. I carry gear for many jobs. The ones I can play well and are geared well (best to worst in order) are SAM(emp) MNK(emp) BLM THF NIN WHM BLU. I am pretty ok with those jobs. I have geared well on WAR RNG DNC DRK DRG. All of these jobs are proc ready for VW/ABBY and junk. I have SMN with Alex as well, but I stored the af3. The other jobs are abyssea burned, but have at least 300ish skill on (most are upper 300's) except for enhancing. Man, skilling enhancing really sucks. That said, my sch is not geared for crap, but I suppose a jaunt to get the gloves would not be hard. I'll post a few sets for SAM and BLM.

Can I improve these sets? Absolutely. I've done the best I can so far with what I can get my grubby paws on. Also, if you need more sets listed, let me know.

7 ~ Merits

I have capped merits. Full str, hp/mp split, shoha, exenterator, and resolution. Full dagger/h2h/Gaxe/gkt. Full enfeeb/elemental/dark magic merits. Job merits are all what they should be. Sam is 5stp/5zanshin/5overwhelm/4ikishoten/1bladebash. Basically all the melee merits are geared as aggressively as possible with whatever proc merits needed to be useful (same for blm), and whm is merited for full shellra/barspell. I could type them all out if you want.

Well, I wouln't mind finishing up the Draguas for h2h since the fellas all bailed on me. I've started farming my own pops for things on blu, but I lack the mules and would rather not rely on shout groups to kill them. I dislike locking things in shouts, and I don't trust the general populace to be competent. Also, I think a good goal is to have meteor. My blm deserves meteor. The best way to contact me for an affirmative or negative is in game. I am pretty lazy in checking my email, and I can go a long time forgetting to check forums. I missed the Inga thread until today! I am so ashamed.

My work schedule is sporadic. Next month it will be regulating out so I�ll have that 9-5 or 6 latest Mon-Fri schedule that I�ve always wanted. My time zone is MTN so 2 hours before EST. 1. I have been playing the game since 2006. I have experience with all end game except Legion. Still a students so my time is pretty much limited to either morning or night depending on the schedule I have. I play this game for the fun and excitement, not to stand there hearing people calling other people noob because we were all once a noob ourselves. I don't have the time to play anymore, too much work etc. How have you been? Is there anything exciting on the game?

I've been in Chester, England since Easter day. I'll go back to France next Saturday. That place is not really exciting but it is ok, very quiet place where I am. The aim of that trip is to improve my english ;D

1 ~ Introduction

Hello All,

I have been playing this game since 2004/5 and know it quite well. I have done pretty much everything except for legion. I am a technical consultant working for an application dev/support company and have a 9-5, Monday to Friday. I also am on call so there are times when I do have to work during the weekend or week nights but it doesn�t happen very often. I have 2 characters that I play, Traer(mage) and Bromber(melee). I keep both well geared and would like to be able to play both, unless there is a player limit scenario. I am looking for a linkshell that still does events and can keep me entertained while this game grows tedious but I hope the new updates bring some challenges back into this game. I know a few people in the shell, mainly Niico.

2 ~ Jobs and Subs

Bromber - 99 WAR,MNK,THF,RNG,SMN,PUP,DNC. I also have 99BST/WHM/BLM/SAM but I don�t have any great gear for them since I either don�t like the job or my other character has the job optimized already.

Traer - 99 WHM,BLM,RDM,BRD. Working on RNG, SMN and SCH to 99 too since recent updates.

3 ~ Mission Status

Assaults are the only thing I haven�t finished.

4 ~ Playtime

I usually play from 5-11EST on weekdays and all day on weekends.

5 ~ Experience and Prior/Current Linkshells

Currently in RGM with Geneyus, Nobodys, XTC and Ben. Before that I was in some HNM blue shell(I don�t remember what it was called) with Gene. It wasn�t for very long because I didn�t like the people and the way they ran the shell. I was on Titan previously in RGM that did all end game stuff, the first Bromber was banned because I mpked some LS with nidhogg a few times.

6 ~ Equipment

95 Mandau 90 Ukon/Twash 85 Veret/Gandiva and currently working on Emp gun/Emp harp for Traer. I also use a moonshade earring with regain +1 because I think its baller for RNG.

I am not sure exactly how you want me to post this since everything is low manned now.

Bromber

WAR has standard 26% haste set with phorcys gear since I think that is an accomplishment now? MDT/PDT sets (PDT still in progress but I am at 30% now with shadow mantle)
THF has max TH and 26% haste with PDT/MDT/Evasion sets.
MNK has standard 26% haste set with PDT/MDT set. (I barely play this job, it was just cause I got veret for PUP)
RNG has standard bow/marks 5 hit on both but will work on 4 hit when Arma is finished. Also stage 3 bow that I would like to finish eventually. MDT/PDT sets
SMN just has emp armor and gear from lvl 75. (Also barely play this job)
PUP has standard 26% haste with PDT/MDT sets, also has an automaton Nuking set with the magian claws.
DNC has standard 26% haste with PDT/MDT sets. (Although I like the job, its barely used.)

Traer

WHM has 49% potency set with emp body, 174 Barspell set, +22 boost spell, Relic +2 pants, decent divine nuking set (in case we need top light nukes!)
RDM has MAB/INT/MDT/PDT sets.
BRD has +3 March harp and Full +2 gear, working on emp harp as well.
BLM has MAB/INT/PDT/MDT sets
All mage jobs have standard Enfeeb/enhancing with 450 stoneskin.

exp. and LS's~ well in the starting days i was a 75 rdm and pld, and for years i was tossed around from ls to ls where i recived almost no help, all the currency went to leaders and drops to the "ls bank" then a few
weeks later the leader would be decked out and /boot or server hop. so for a few i jumped around socials. met back up with a old pal and joined his ls shadowkings. he showed me the ropes of abyssea as
i mentioned i came back from a break when it was in full swing. he took a break from the game and the ls fell apart. I then made Apocalypse LS, where i got some old buddies to join. things have went smooth
and i was a pretty good leader in my opinion. i barely ever lotted on stuff as i have two accounts and could mostly d.box my own items on my own time giving the members more time and items to get them
ahead. all 6 of my weapons (kannagi,verethragna,ochain,almace,gandiva, and ukonvasara) have been done outside of linkshell events also. thanx mental,dracia,cb (your a beast!)dmc & ali for the assistance
with some pops ^^. but as of late the members have seemed to take a turn for the worst, not showing up to events or meetings, login and say "sticky can you d.box sobek ect for me" when i havent seen them

This is the rough part. I'm living in South Korea which puts me on JST time schedules. I work from 9:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday. For scheduled events I have no problem waking up at 2~4 am during the weekday or attenting Friday / Saturday events (my Saturday / Sunday). If I'm in the game then I'm avaialble to go kill something.

Some old Sky shells from many years ago, used to run with Jangula / Giggi and their crowd before they server hopped to Hades. Ran with Sajihellian's Limbus shell back then also. Did Dynamis with LoO and afterwards Joined Avalon for Abyssea. Did random Salvage / Assault / Nyzule stuff with statics.

Got into a flaming argument with another linkshell on a BC fight in FF14

Just wondering would go through your head...

Scenario
2 WHM
3 WAR
3 ARC

Beginning of the fight starts off with 1 mob
Objective: burn it down asap before next mob pops

Enemy: WAR class, extremely weak to magic

1 WHM starts nuking target and getting max hate, and dying
Other WHM with full HP/MP

What should the following happen...
A. WHM thats nuking to start curing himself, generating more enmity, and not get any help from anyone
B. Other WHM to start curing and do something so the other WHM doesn't get fucked on enmity
C. Other plan
D. Quit FF14, because the game and players fail (but seriously what would you have done)

Incase you're all wondering who's been stealing cookies from you lately, it's been DMC in disguise as me!

First time I checked in here for a while, I know I promised I'd pay more attention sorry Glad to see Trixx & Cell are being good and enjoying their time off

I've been having ups and downs myself. Unfortunately still no work, however I finished my first college course, and although no results until next month, I am 99% sure I passed so I'm now more-or-less a qualified Bookkeeper. I started another course too in the next level of Accountancy, but still waiting for the Governing Body who do all the exams to OK my student application (it's a total arse-backwards system, you have to sign up to be a member in the first 2 weeks of the course, then they tell you it takes up to 6 weeks for them to process your application! On top of that, the first exam is 4 weeks into the course!)

Anyway away from that 1 or 2 of you may remember me moaning and complaining about my knee a while back lol. Well I saw a specialist this week and I'm going in for an operation in the summer to try and fix it so fingers crossed for that too! Just glad they finally got to the bottom of the problem so something can now be done about it! (don't worry, the 'something' they are doing isn't chopping my leg off, it can still be salvaged!)

Hope you're all still having fun and DMC isn't abusing my characters too much!!

My name is Felinah I have been playing ffxi since 2003. I am a warrior at heart and love to pound things over the head.
I have a been a very solo oriented player for years but have grown tired a playing by myself lol. I would love to join this shell and
become part of a team. I am friends with Camdan. I have also been good friends with Aurthur who was a member of Eminence, but he is no longer active.

My lvl 99 jobs are: Warrior, Monk, Samurai, Dancer, and Paladin

Other jobs of note are: 95 Scholar, 95 Dragoon, and 90 Dark Knight. These jobs will be 99 soon though.

Experience and Prior/Current Linkshells
I was in a sky shell years ago, I can't recall the name. It was led by Dragomer and Samhain. l have done all the sky gods
and kirin multiple times. I have not done much for sea, have done AV once. I have dynamis Xarcabard and cop zones access. I do not
have Tavnazian access yet. I have abyssea shinryu completed. I have extensive abyssea expirience and have tanked and solo'd alot of
abyssea NM's. I am not currently in an endgame shell.

I miss you guys too !

I've been soooo busy with work I can barely play anything anymore. Only yesterday I finally beat Batman Arkham City

Working two jobs now! I'm still employed at the company making software for POS (point of service) cashregister computers. Sounds boring I know ^^.
They promoted me to a fulltime employee last month so making double money there now.

I still work at the local Cinema as well. Eating my popcorn hehe. But only halftime there now since I reeaaaly don't wanna work from 08:00 to 21:30 every day.

So I just wanted to pop my head back to say I miss you guys a ton. And I hope I can come back some day if my real life takes a chill pill.

So ya, I would have posted this on BG, but I dont do the forum thing that often, so I dont have enough posts to post url's. Anyway, I wanted at least a few people to see this and feel my pain.

Basically this guy threw a huge fit because I claimed Heqet a whole ONE time that day, and he happen to be camping while I did. Then bitched and moaned at me in say because i was on thf and blablabla red procs blablabla, and then I got KI anyway. I then popped CC and left. Later that day, I popped another CC that I was buying off of a random person from a shout, during which time (around 9% HP left), I was charmed and the NM went white. He proceeded to kill me during charm, and took the NM while it was white. Then after his party members continued to apologize in /tells to me for him being such a dick, I moved to their party and took the lanterns, and gave them all the +2's. No harm no foul in my opinion... Until he decided to make an issue about for the next 10 mins, proving himself a bigger idiot than I'd originally thought.

Hey guys after some consideration i've come to realize i won't be able to be in a endgame shell any longer i've did allot of work to get in Emi and it pains me to see myself leave sooner then i had hoped

Time to join teh "Smartphone" generation

Looking for ideas on what to purchase. I am on a month to month contract with T-Mobile so my carrier doesn't matter. All of the major ones have coverage in my area. I am a newb to the smartphone generation so I am looking for some basic things right now.

1) needs to be able to sync with microsoft exchange - this is the catalyst for me getting a new phone actually
2) I do not listen to alot of music on my phone
3) I do like good calling quality, I hate not being able to hear people on the phone
4) Battery life is important to me
5) features i am unsure of since I have never had a smartphone.
6) screen size, i guess the 4-5 inch versions are about what i am looking for

Basically looking for a non salespersons' opinion of the phone market

Hey! I miss y'all so friggin much!!! How is everyone? I am doing much better. A month after I quit ffxi I found myself getting a divorce. Now I am happy with my life though! Finally getting out of this lame marriage and moving on to better things in life. Going to see Joe aka. Fleshy in 2 weeks and I am very excited! Hope you all are doing well! I may get on the game in the near future to say hello!

Availability:
I work during the week 130pm-10pm, except wednesdays is a half hour earlier. I'm free before and after those times weekdays.
Weekends are really more of my free time.

I've been playing on this game for about 6 years. I've been in one HNMLS on Garuda Server called Stealthvertigo. We did Salvage, Hnms, dynamis, you name it. I was in it for about 2 years until i ended up leaving over sackholder issues. The sackholders just gave everything to their "Favorites" or people who could dedicate their lives 24/7 to the game. It got old really quick. I just didnt like all that favoritism. I never caused any trouble just really couldn't do anything about it.

My future goals are to get a Nirvana and just overall the experience of doing some of these things. I'd also like to shoot for a Heka's kalasiris but heck...I'm sure i'm not the only one in here looking for one of those. An almace and Ochain would be nice since i just dont feel my paladin can take the hits with the gear i have on it. Maybe it can and i'm just not confident in myself. It would be a learning experience i'm sure. I'm not against it either. I just don't want to come off as a greedy person by any means. I prefer to keep my needs to things i'll actually use and not things that will just sit in my storage just to say i have it. i would like to finish +2ing all my AF3 as well at some point. Just is one of those things i need to get around to doing. I would hope that I can provide the help you guys need for events. I will try my best to do what i can, when i can. Thank you
